Philadelphia, PA — Cherrelle Champagne, a dynamic force in the Philadelphia music scene and co-founder of the production duo BJxCC-Music, is set to release her debut solo single, “Uninvited,” on Black Friday, November 24th, 2024. The track will be available for exclusive pre-release on her website, cantcolonizethevibe.com, before becoming widely available on all streaming platforms on December 10th.
Known for her work producing with BJxCC-Music for some of Philly’s top artists—including Rieko Saffiyah $wipe, Blue Werd, Lil Uzi Vert, and Asaad—Cherrelle is stepping into the spotlight as an artist in her own right.
The single, “Uninvited,” introduces listeners to Cherrelle’s signature sound—an eclectic fusion of soulful R&B and upbeat, quirky dance rhythms. Featuring bold lyrics like, “Don’t get too excited, mama, cuz you might not be invited, mama,” the track delivers a message of self-sovereignty and selective connection.
“I’m thrilled to share this next chapter with everyone,” Cherrelle says. “Being a part of the Philly music scene has given me the privilege of collaborating with incredibly talented artists. Now, I’m bringing that same energy to my own music. Can’t Colonize the Vibe has always been about authenticity and empowerment, and ‘Uninvited’ reflects that vision.”
